EulumdatTools updated to use Eclipse 2020-03
EulumdatTools is using the Eclipse application framework and that updates to a new version every quarter.
We follow the recent upgrade to version 2020-03 to take advantage of all speed and stability upgrades.
Bug fixes in version 0.14.13.v20200413
- When LDT files with errors were converted to IES, the conversion would fail silently, resulting in an empty file. This has been fixed and all errors during batch conversion will be shown at the end of a conversion. Files without errors will all be processed. Note that these errors can be caught by using the validators!
We no longer recommend Oracle Java
Due to ever more stringent licensing rules, we recommend against using Oracle Java. Please use java from https://adoptopenjdk.net.
PLEASE SCHEDULE SOME TIME TO CHANGE YOUR JAVA TO 64-BIT VERSIONS!
Windows 10 users: performance issues?
Windows 10 Defender significantly slows down Eclipse, reason being Windows 10 Defender scanning the JAR files. The problem has been reported to Microsoft here. Until then, a workaround to this problem is to add Eclipse root directory to Windows 10 Defender's exclusion list, detailed steps are shared here.

Installation of EulumdatTools
For use in Eclipse you can use the standard Eclipse update site For stand alone RCP versions of EulumdatTools choose your platform and perform update after installation.:

Installation of Sandbox Feature
Select menu Help / Install New Software... and choose the Eulumdat Tools Sandbox / Sandbox Feature, press Next and follow through with the installation. Also see here
